My thoughts for this guy is he's the result of a huge mutant pandemic, roaming an post apocalyptic city searching for other survivors to maim and dismember until he is the only one left. All done in Photoshop CS5 - 5-6 hours or so in total. No references used. _
All I can say is wow. The Survivor Slayer is my favourite. The gas mask and the spear did it all. I really like the idea that he has modern and old survival tools. To me, this is a mix between a Spartan, and a horse. The amour, the gas mask, spear, and chains go extremely well together. I look up to your art and hope and set my goals to be as good as you when I'm older. The survivor slayer should be put smack down written into a book. Lordnetsua, KEEP IT COMIN'! [ i reeaaalllyyy want to transform into a slayer.
I love the concept of this piece! None of the features are outstanding and separate the the style with the concept, it works quite flawlessly. I love the mist effect at the legs and feet, it gives a real aspect of the unknown. My personal favourite part of 'Survivor Slayer' is the scythe; because of the intricate beauties on it. And that Gas mask, reminds me a tad of a Fallout dealy, great balance of the black though! Overall Great job! I wouldn't personally say that the Impact is (or needs to be, for that matter) huge, but saying that, I think that the subtle terrors and shocks make it better anyway!
I have included this wonderful artwork in the new feature on the front of the journal. Please the journal so that more members will see your art, and thank you for being a member
