Description
Fan art of the maniac himself, Freddy Krueger. I actually started this ages ago, probably more than a year, but now that I'm off to Oz Comic-ConMelbourne this weekend, and Robert Barton Englund -The Original Freddy Krueger is going to be there, I couldn't resist finishing it up.
I love Freddy Krueger as a villain, and the way he bends reality and torments and his victims in their dreams. It's so messed up. With the piece, I wanted to not only capture my take on him and his intensity, but also the surreal nightmare like way he kills. It's almost like he's clawing and ripping at the frame of the image, trying to get out of the picture and into your head.
Will have this print available at Oz Comic-Con this weekend in Melbourne, at my booth number 92 in the Artist's Alley, so come by and say hi to check it out!
